AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS
UC Berkeley Student Chapter
Cal Construction is the largest student-led organization within UC Berkeley’s CEE Department, dedicated to expanding access to the construction industry. Members gain hands-on exposure to essential industry skills such as estimating, scheduling, and project management, while also engaging directly with professionals through workshops, coaching, and site visits.
This year, the team sent 80 students across 10 teams to the ASC Regions 6 & 7 Competition in Reno, Nevada. Teams including Project Management, VDC, Design Build, and IPD commit months of preparation to strengthen both their technical expertise and professional skills.
