The UC Berkeley Steel Bridge team is a student-led organization focused on structural engineering excellence. For the annual AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition, we manage a complete project lifecycle by designing, drafting, fabricating, and constructing a steel bridge over 20 feet long from scratch. Members gain proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, and SolidWorks, alongside hands-on welding and fabrication skills. Welcoming all experience levels, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and close-knit community within the Cal CEE department.
